Marshall Drafted to Dolphins

How many do you know about 2010 NFL draft? If you already know something do you feel it is excited.

Yeah, the draft is almost over, many secret becomes known.

The Denver Broncos have traded wide receiver Brandon Marshall to the Miami Dolphins for second-round draft picks in 2010 and 2011, the Broncos announced Wednesday.

What number will Marshall wear of his jersey? We still dont know, but the Miami Dolphins jerseys is hot sale, become the best seller.

In acquiring Marshall, the Dolphins gained a deep threat at receiver to loosen up defenses for their potentially potent ground game and young, strong-armed quarterback Chad Henne. In return, the Broncos get two high draft picks for a player who caused them headaches in addition to making plays.

"It's good to be here, man," Marshall said as he mingled with fans at the Miami Heat's game against New Jersey. Last summer, Marshall was suspended by the team for throwing a tantrum at practice during training camp. The source of his frustration was twofold: he was upset with the team's medical staff for misdiagnosing a hip injury that required offseason surgery and he was displeased with his contract.

Despite those difficulties, Marshall caught 101 passes for 1,120 yards and 10 touchdowns last season, including an NFL-record 21 in a loss at Indianapolis. He has 327 career receptions for 4,019 yards and 25 touchdowns in four seasons, all in Denver, which drafted him out of Central Florida with a fourth-round pick in 2006.

Broncos coach Josh McDaniels told ESPN's Ed Werder that in a post-trade phone call with Marshall, he told the receiver that he enjoyed their time together, predicted success for him with the Dolphins and expressed regret that their own partnership could not be successful in the long term.

Marshall's departure leaves the Broncos with Jabar Gaffney, who had 54 catches for 732 yards and two TDs last season, as their top receiver. Eddie Royal caught 37 passes with no TDs and Brandon Stokley had 19 catches, four for TDs.

"I'm not quite sure how the future would have been if he was around and how it would have affected everything," Broncos tight end Daniel Graham said at an event at a Denver high school on Wednesday night.

In a little more than a year, with a pair of blockbuster trades, Denver has recouped two first-round picks, two second-round picks, a third-round pick and quarterback Kyle Orton in exchange for Jay Cutler and Marshall.

"We're going to miss what he brings to that football field," Graham said. "But we've got to move on. It's a business." Graham, who grew up in Denver, said he realizes a good portion of the team's fan base is upset that McDaniels has traded away Cutler and Marshall in successive offseasons.

Is Kelly Rowland out of fashion?

Kelly Rowland: you’re out.

Bravo has refashioned the upcoming second season of “Project Runway” replacement show, “The Fashion Show,” and has decided to hire a new co-host who has actually worked in fashion.

Nothing against former Destiny’s Child member Rowland, who hosted the first season of “The Fashion Show,” the show where newbie designers compete for a fashion line and a cash prize of $125,000. Rowland is a fashion plate, to be sure, but the show clearly needs to beef up their first season’s less than stellar numbers; so it makes sense to get someone with a fashion-rich background.

And the new woman who’ll be co-hosting alongside designer Isaac Mizrahi? Legendary supermodel Iman.

“I am so excited to be joining the Bravo team and to be working again with Isaac Mizrahi, my close friend of many, many years,” Mrs. David Bowie said. “I am also looking forward to all of the behind-the-scenes excitement and drama that is generated through the creative process of these undiscovered fashion designers.”

Steve Nash--the Savior of Suns

He is not so tall to get the rebound,he also have no enough power to hit against other players,he have perfect mentality even though he has bad physical quality.I am a fan of him, even he is getting older and older,he is still No. 1 in my mind.

Steve Nash ,the leader of Phoenix Suns—NBA jersey no.13,the only four MVP who is not American,be charged to Suns in 2003,and before he came ,Suns have a very poor basketball competition, and from then on,the Suns enjoyed a high repetition in NBA League.

We can recall when Steve Nash was a rookie with the Suns and still exploring his first bad hairstyle, when he was eliciting comparisons to Utah's future Hall of Famer, John Stockton.

Nash didn't like the comparisons, which were predictable because both were small white point guards from the same conference drafted with little fanfare in the middle of the first round.

Nash even made a point of seeking Stockton out after the first game he played against the Jazz to apologize for the comparisons and assure Stockton he wasn't making them.

We bring this up because we want to apologize in advance for bringing up a Stockton comparison again.

Come to think of it, Stockton might want to apologize, too.

We'll all feel better.

Anyway, the Suns point guard celebrated his 36th birthday Sunday and is playing at as high of a level as ever.

That is simply unheard of in the NBA, particularly for guards and most especially for small guards.

Stockton retired at 41 and is one of the few small guards who continued to play at a high level into his 30s.

But even Stockton pales - sorry - in comparison with Nash.

Using his age at the start of each season as the measure, Nash averaged 12.4 points and 6 assists per game before age 30. Since then, he has averaged 17.2points and 10.9 assists per game.

Stockton, like Nash, increased his scoring average after 30 - from 12.8 points a game to 13.2, but his assists went down from 11.2 per game before 30 to 9.9 after 30.

And the drop-off after 34, like most guards, is sharp for Stockton. He averaged 14.4 points and 10.5 assists up to that point in his career. From 34 on he averaged 11.9 points and 8.2 assists.

At 35, which is where Nash started this season, Stockton averaged 12 points and 8.5 assists.

Nash is posting 18.4 points and 11.1 assists this season.

That's just nuts; plus fruits and vegetables, evidently.

Of course, Stockton's minutes went down later in his career, and Nash's have remained consistent. But they've remained consistent because his production hasn't slipped.

The history of the NBA is littered with guards who hit the wall at or before 34 and soon were out of the league.

'Eclipse' Fashion Week Day 2 EXCLUSIVE: Edward Vs. Jacob At Nordstrom!

What’s up, “Twilight” fans? It’s Danielle and Janice, two of MTV News' hardest-working interns, here to bring you your second dose of fashionista fun.

In today’s installment of “Eclipse Fashion Week,” we’ll be highlighting a look that has been proven to stir up some controversy even among the closest of friends. Mixing clothes and men can never be a good thing among the ladies, but we're going to take our chances!

CHECK OUT DAY TWO OF OUR EXCLUSIVE NORDSTROM REVEALS AFTER THE JUMP!
DANIELLE: First off, I have to say that personally I would pick Edward over Jacob any day. I mean come on, who doesn’t love a sexy British accent? As you can see in the pic, I’m rocking the “I Heart Edward" plaid boyfriend tee in maroon ($30), and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

JANICE: Danielle, you should really join me over in Taycob land! I'm sure I can gather up another Camp Jacob v-neck tee ($30) for you if you want to join. Sure, RPattz might have a cute British accent, but haven't you noticed that Taylor Lautner is officially a man? Don’t you remember that one scene from “New Moon” where he walks shirtless in the rain? Yeah, I think that's enough to make you switch over to my team!
DANIELLE: Ugh, whatever Janice. I would trade in Taycob’s physique any day if it meant being with Edward. Ya know, looks aren’t everything now-a-days. Some of us actually care about the inside stuff.

JANICE: Danielle! Jacob has feelings, too! Aren't vampires referred to as the "cold ones" anyway? Food for thought.

Well, clearly this isn’t going to be solved any time soon. Who do you agree with, Janice or Danielle?

Nordstrom's line, which will be found will in the BP. department in stores, will be available for preorder beginning next Saturday, and in-store and online purchasing will start June 4!

Pretty Women Bad for Men's Health?

"If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life, never make a pretty woman your wife," goes the song. But a new study by the University of Valencia reveals that just being around a beautiful female can cause men to release cortisol, a nasty stress hormone.

Cortisol is produced during physical or psychological stress and can contribute to worsening heart disease, diabetes, erectile dysfunction, clinical depression and hypertension. In the study, 84 men attempted to solve a sudoku puzzle with a woman they considered "out of their league" in the room. When each man was left alone with the gorgeous lady, his cortisol levels spiked. Researchers believe that the hormone increase had to do with the opportunity for courtship.

Patti Britton, a clinical sexologist and author of "The Art of Sex Coaching," says she isn't surprised that this situation could trigger the stress hormone.

"Men are much more vulnerable than they let on," she says. "They're taught to display bravado, but it's often a cover-up for insecurities that lie underneath. For them, a beautiful woman is an intimidation factor, and the fight or flight response is triggered."

When it comes to relationships and courtship, excitement and fear are two emotions that frequently go hand in hand. But the good news is, by using some specific techniques, cortisol release can be kept at bay.

"Men need to self-soothe the anxious response," says Britton. "They need to stop the negative messages, the negative self-talk."

Britton also says that when men stop seeing women solely as sex objects, they'll have an easier time keeping anxiety in check.

"You have to be willing to humanize a potential partner and stop objectifying her," she says. "When someone like Pamela Anderson walks into a room -- she's overwhelmingly beautiful. But inside her there's also a vulnerable person who wants to be loved."

Instead of simply avoiding the hotties, men should work on boosting their confidence levels.

"Shift away from 'she's out of my league' and into 'this is someone I'd like to know,'" says Britton. "Humanize her. In fact, the more men put themselves out there with women they find attractive, the easier it will be to feel genuine confidence. If you're afraid of swimming, the first step is to get into the water. Practice makes perfect."

Dr. David J. Ores, a general practitioner in Manhattan, feels that the study should be taken with a grain of salt.

"This shows a very transient, brief rise in cortisol levels," says Ores. "A steady elevation over 10 or 20 years caused by being in the wrong job or an unhappy relationship would be more cause for concern."

Ores also points out that once you snag a pretty woman, chances are you will not walk around in a constant state of stress for the rest of your life.

"As the relationship evolves, each partner will see many more features they like or dislike, and a certain comfort level can arise."

Gentlemen:gift just for your beloved woman in mothers day

It’s Mother’s Day on Sunday and you better get it right. Not with your mom – with the mother of your children.

So what you gonner do?you can buy a gift for her, like a evening dress.“You can’t just let it slide [with your wife] and think it’s going to go unnoticed,” says James Bassil, editor-in-chief of preetylove.com. And don’t just phone it in with some “World’s Greatest Mom” coffee mug. “You want to stay away from reinforcing her maternal role,” Mr. Bassil says. Instead, give her a break from being a mom.

It’s a bit cliché, Mr. Bassil says, but take her to the spa and tell her how gorgeous she looks when you pick her up. “If she comes out of the spa and she’s greeted by you saying, ‘Wow, you look superhot. You look really sexy and beautiful,’ that’s the way to really nail it.”

If she mentioned a restaurant a few weeks ago that she’s interested in, make a reservation. If she name-dropped an author last month, buy her one of his books. You want to go for gifts that are “emblems of how much you think about [her], how you pay attention to the little details even though she thinks you neglect them,” Mr. Bassil says.

If you haven’t been able to lock down a good gift in time, just taking the kids for the day while your wife does whatever she wants is going to be much appreciated.

But remember, you’re being judged relative to all the other husbands out there. Your wife and her friends are going to swap stories, so you want to win her points in her social circle.

“She gets to say to her friends, ‘Check out what he did for Mother’s Day.’ … And her friends are going to hate that. It’s going to drive them crazy, and she’ll like that.”
